Radda rewards top BUK medical students with N7m, laptops, scholarships

Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda honored three exceptional medical students from Bayero University Kano (BUK) with a generous N7 million reward, three laptops, and postgraduate scholarships. The recipients, Dr Ismail Abubakar Muhammad, Dr Abba Bashir, and Dr Fatima Tukur Sada, were acknowledged for their outstanding academic achievements at BUK's College of Health Sciences.

Muhammad, who excelled in Biochemistry, Medicine and Surgery, and overall, received N3 million, a new Lenovo laptop, and a scholarship for postgraduate studies in Nuclear Medicine. Bashir, the top student in Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology, and the second-best overall student, was awarded N2 million, a Lenovo laptop, and a scholarship for Nuclear Medicine training.

Eada, who excelled in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, also received N2 million, a Lenovo laptop, and a scholarship for postgraduate research in Nuclear Medicine.

Radda's initiative reflects his administration's dedication to fostering academic excellence, nurturing youth development, and investing in human capital. The governor expressed his congratulations to the beneficiaries, urging them to maintain their commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service to humanity. He further promised that his administration would continue supporting outstanding students and investing in skilled professionals to contribute to the development of Katsina State and Nigeria.
