QNET directs accredited offices to relocate to commercial areas

Global wellness and lifestyle organization QNET has instructed all its accredited offices in Ghana to move to commercial areas, aiming to increase public oversight. This change aims to make the activities of these offices transparent, allowing authorities and citizens to monitor them more easily and differentiate between legitimate and fraudulent operations.

QNET's Global Compliance Officer, Naana Quartey, mentioned that the company is partnering with the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) and the Ghana Police Service to eliminate unlawful elements from its operations. During a Ministers’ Seminar of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches Conference in Kumasi, Quartey cautioned religious leaders to warn their congregations about fraudulent schemes in QNET's name, which include fake job and travel offers.

She emphasized that QNET is a legitimate direct-selling business and not a travel or employment agency; criminals are falsely using the QNET brand to deceive people. Quartey stressed the importance of religious leaders speaking out against these scams to protect their members from falling victim. The company is also collaborating with EOCO to investigate and prosecute individuals using QNET's name for fraudulent purposes.

Recently, this partnership led to a workshop for representatives from 13 Central and West African countries to combat cross-border fraud. Last month, EOCO, with QNET's assistance, rescued and arrested 44 foreign nationals involved in a travel scam syndicate, including 33 Burkinabe nationals who were repatriated on August 13, 2026, to INTERPOL.

Quartey urged religious leaders to familiarize themselves with Ghanaian laws alongside their spiritual duties, and the GPCC Chairman, Apostle Dr Bright Sosu, praised the seminar as an enlightening experience and advised religious leaders to verify information before disseminating it to their followers.
