The recent comparison between the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro reveals that these two models have grown increasingly similar over time. Both devices share a remarkably similar design, with only minor variations. The most significant change lies in the camera bar, where the Pixel 11 Pro features a glass design that protrudes slightly, while the base model maintains a metal frame with a slightly thicker design.

One notable difference between the two models is their display capabilities. The Pixel 11 Pro boasts a higher-resolution 1280 x 2856 panel, offering up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness, compared to the base Pixel 11's 1080 x 2424 panel with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. However, both phones feature LTPO displays that support a refresh rate range of 1-120Hz, providing users with smoother visuals and more dynamic experiences.

In terms of protection, the base model continues to utilize standard Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the Pro model receives an additional specialized anti-scratch coating on top of its Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing more than double the scratch resistance compared to previous models. Despite this, a screen protector may still be beneficial, especially if you plan to use the HiLight feature, which requires your phone to be face down.

RAM and storage options are another point of differentiation. The base Pixel 11 comes with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. In contrast, the Pixel 11 Pro also offers 12GB of RAM for its 256GB storage option, but offers a top-tier configuration with 16GB of RAM and storage options of 512GB or 1TB. Notably, all models now feature UFS 4.0 storage by default on the entry-level tier, with high-tier models benefiting from Zoned UFS for faster storage performance.

Connectivity is another area where the Pixel 11 Pro offers some advantages. While the base model supports Wi-Fi 6E, the Pro model boasts Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Additionally, the Pixel 11 Pro includes UWB support for improved Bluetooth connectivity and enhanced digital car key functionality.

One unique feature exclusive to the Pixel 11 Pro is the HiLight LED, a color-changing indicator integrated into the flash. This feature serves as a notification and call indicator when the phone is face down in Flip to Shh mode. However, the functionality is currently limited to the Contacts application and may expand in the coming months.
