Philippine central bank sees August inflation at 5.5% to 6.5%

MANILA: The Philippine central bank said on Friday that annual inflation in August was likely to be within a range of 5.5% to 6.5%. “The BSP will remain vigilant and guided by incoming data, particularly on inflation and growth prospects,” the central bank said. The statistics agency will release inflation data on Friday, September 4.
