Nashik: NEDA Celebrates Raksha Bandhan With Differently-Abled Students, Donates Water Purifier

Nashik's Nash Events and Decor Association (NEDA) recently celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a special touch, hosting differently-abled students from Vidya Prabodhini School. The students exchanged rakhis with NEDA members, creating an atmosphere of warmth and affection. Beyond the festivities, NEDA demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by donating a water purifier to the school. This gesture aims to provide the students with access to clean drinking water, including both hot and cold options.

NEDA President Pravin Kamale engaged with the students, emphasizing that such occasions like Raksha Bandhan serve to strengthen bonds across various segments of society. He encouraged the students to face challenges with confidence, urging them to dream big and work diligently towards their aspirations. He reassured the students that they are no less capable than anyone else and possess the ability to achieve their dreams.

Rajat Sharma, an NEDA member, spearheaded the event's organization, earning appreciation from Vidya Prabodhini School and the NEDA leadership for his socially responsible efforts. At the event's end, Kunal Jaggi, NEDA Vice-President, proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Vidya Prabodhini School officials, NEDA members, and staff for their cooperation. The program, themed "A Gift of Pure Water in Return for a Rakhi," effectively merged the spirit of Raksha Bandhan with a profound sense of social responsibility.
