Megan Speaks Out After Sprained Ankle Prompts KATSEYE Daisy Chain Fields Fest Cancellation: ‘Sending All My Love to Olivia’

Megan Rodriguez has issued a personal statement following her injury, which led to KATSEYE's withdrawal from Olivia Rodrigo's inaugural charity festival, Daisy Chain Fields. The 20-year-old musician recently sprained her ankle during a rehearsal, and medical professionals advised her to avoid putting weight on it to aid her recovery.

In a message shared on her Instagram Story, Megan expressed her disappointment at missing the festival, which is known for its charitable spirit and dedication to women and girls. She extended her well wishes to Olivia Rodrigo and the numerous artists, non-profit organizations, and volunteers who contributed to the event. The cancellation left KATSEYE's lineup in disarray, as they had been set to perform on Saturday alongside other prominent female artists like Chappell Roan, Doechii, The Breeders, Mitski, and Garbage.

All proceeds from the festival were intended to support women's health organizations, including Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights. Following Megan's injury, fellow band member Devon Again stepped in to fill her place, announcing her support through a heartfelt Instagram comment. KATSEYE, currently composed of four active members after Manon and Sophia took a break due to personal matters, experienced a record-breaking debut with their new EP, WILD, which topped the Billboard 200 chart.
