MCE urges La Nkwantanang Health Directorate to maintain Otinibi Clinic

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, Ibrahim Faila Fusseini, has called on the Municipal Health Directorate to maintain a recently built Otinibi Clinic to enhance healthcare accessibility for locals. The clinic, funded by Qatar and Kuwait, was officially opened and transferred to the community as part of a broader initiative to boost healthcare services and spur growth in the municipality.

During the inauguration and transfer ceremony, Mr. Fusseini emphasized the necessity of preserving the facility to guarantee its ongoing utility for the community. He pledged that the Assembly would persist in backing endeavors designed to enhance the living conditions of residents. "The Assembly will continue to support and bring development to the area for the benefit of the people," he affirmed.

The MCE also inaugurated a new mosque for Otinibi's residents, highlighting these projects as vital steps toward the social and economic progress of the community. Mr. Fusseini credited President John Dramani Mahama for his encouragement to seek aid from international development partners to tackle pressing community needs in the municipality.

He expressed gratitude to the governments and Qatari and Kuwaiti partners for their support of the projects, stressing the importance of such collaborations in supplementing government and Assembly efforts to deliver essential infrastructure. The MCE urged residents to assume responsibility for the facilities, urging them to safeguard them to ensure future generations can also reap the benefits of these investments.

The opening of the clinic and mosque adds to the infrastructure enhancements in Otinibi, with the expectation of improving healthcare access and the religious and social welfare of residents.
