Marlaska acude al Congreso tras el choque con Robles dispuesto a defender su versión

Spain's Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska returned to Congress three days after a heated public confrontation with Defense Minister Margarita Robles over the role of the National Intelligence Center (CNI) ahead of the Ceuta migration crisis. Robles stirred significant unrest within the government on Tuesday, asserting multiple times in her appearance in the lower chamber that her intelligence service, composed of 25 agents deployed in the North African locality, had warned of significant movement across the border, risking a mass crossing.

Grande-Marlaska, responsible for taking measures following the knowledge of the threat, reiterated almost simultaneously during a subsequent press conference after the Council of Ministers that "there was no report indicating" such a large-scale entry, neither from the CNI nor any intelligence service.
