Live: Manly's finals dreams on the line against last-placed Dragons
The Manly Sea Eagles need to beat last-placed St George Illawarra to keep their finals hopes alive, before the Panthers take on the Bulldogs in a clash that will go a long way to deciding the top eight. Follow live.
Canterbury's aspirations for the NRL finals are in jeopardy following a 24-10 defeat to Penrith, who edged closer to a top-two finish. Centre Liam Martin scored a brace as the Panthers reclaimed the top spot in the ladder. The Bulldogs, who have endured a difficult start to the year, are now on the brink of elimination with just five games remaining in the season.
For the Bulldogs to secure a finals berth, they must defeat Brisbane and hope that North Queensland and South Sydney also fail to advance. Meanwhile, Penrith's Nathan Cleary praised the team's defensive performance, describing it as professional, clinical, and suitable for the playoffs.
