Journalling club looking for folks up for a scrap

Katie Borgfjord, founder of local journalling club Scrap and Yap, invites people of all ages to gather weekly at the Riverview Community Centre’s Monday Markets. The club provides supplies such as magazines, stickers, glue, scissors, and stamps for attendees to unleash their creativity through collage-making. Borgfjord, 26, grew up watching her mother scrapbook and is passionate about promoting this casual, eco-friendly hobby.

Despite harsh weather on a particular night, several children and adults participated in the craft session. The weekly drop-in format will conclude with the Monday Markets season, but Borgfjord plans to continue teaching workshops in the fall.
