'It could be a long year ahead' - Raisbeck

Newcastle commentator Matthew Raisbeck has expressed concern that this summer could be a challenging one for the Magpies. In a special BBC Radio Newcastle show, Raisbeck and co-commentator John Anderson discussed the difficulties faced by the club. Raisbeck remarked, "It's been a challenging summer because it always is, no matter who owns the club, there is always something over the past few years."

Last summer saw the Isak saga, while the year before that involved the departure of Elliot Anderson and Amanda Staveley, and the introduction of a new sporting director. Raisbeck concluded that "it always feels like the summer is difficult for Newcastle United."
