Iran-Krieg: Irans Außenminister: „Druck funktioniert nicht“

Teheran: Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtsch has left the door open for a diplomatic solution to the ongoing stalemate with the United States. In a recent X post, the Iranian official wrote that diplomacy is not impossible to resume. He further insisted that the US must understand that "pressuring does not work." Araghtsch recommended that the US instead build trust, speak respectfully, acknowledge Iran's rights, and honor its commitments.

Regional states have initiated a new round of diplomatic efforts in recent days. On Monday, a delegation led by Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir arrived in Tehran, followed by Oman's Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi on Tuesday. On Thursday, Katara's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Araghtsch. Nearly half a year into the Iran-Krieg, the conflict has hit a dead end.

According to Iranian media reports, talks with Oman have primarily focused on potentially opening the Hormuz Strait. Iran demands concessions from the US government, such as those agreed upon in a June framework agreement. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump seeks to pressure Iran through an "economic war."
