In Sarawak, Jalan Lapangan Terbang junction to close overnight for works from Aug 28 to 29

KUCHING, Aug 28 — Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd has announced that the junction linking Jalan Lapangan Terbang to Lorong Lapangan Terbang 1 will be closed overnight on Friday at 10pm, to resume operations at 5am on Saturday. This temporary closure is due to sheet-piling dismantling works. The transportation authority has urged drivers to utilize alternate routes and adjust their travel plans accordingly during this period.

Sarawak Metro emphasized the importance of adhering to all traffic control measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to guarantee the safety of both road users and construction personnel.
