Imran Khan's sons voice fears for his safety

Jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan's sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, have voiced grave concerns over their father's safety in prison, alleging that attempts are being made to kill him. The brothers, speaking in an 18-minute interview with Sky Sports, aired during a lunch break of a cricket match, expressed their fears, stating that Imran is being kept isolated for over 23 hours a day in a cell.

Kasim alleged that the conditions have significantly deteriorated, reminiscent of other political prisoners who have met a tragic end. Sulaiman questioned the transparency of Imran's recent medical examination, insisting that it was conducted by government doctors and not by an independent expert. The brothers have not had a face-to-face meeting with their 73-year-old father since 2022, when he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

They have been denied visas to visit their father multiple times, but they remain determined to see him, despite the potential risk of arrest.
