With this delivery, Ibom Air's total fleet now stands at 10 aircraft, consisting of seven Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Regional Jets (CRJ900s) and three Airbus A220-300s. This addition brings down the fleet's average age, underscoring Ibom Air’s reputation for having one of the youngest and most modern fleets in Nigeria. The airline had placed a firm order for 10 Airbus A220-300 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow in 2021, with the first factory-new A220-300 delivered in 2023 and another acquired outright in 2024.
