I Support Ama McBrown Because Of Dr Likee – Oboy Siki

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Oboy Siki, has expressed his support for actress Nana Ama McBrown, despite his dislike for her actions. Oboy Siki made this statement during an interview on Aluta FM, explaining that he supports McBrown due to his close relationship with comedian Dr Likee. He noted that he would not support McBrown if it were not for Dr Likee.

"I’m supporting McBrown because of Dr Likee, but I can’t attend her movie premiere. I wouldn’t support McBrown if not for Dr Likee. Why should I support her? I don’t like anything she does," he said.

Oboy Siki emphasized that people have diverse preferences, and one should not admire the same individual simply because they are famous. "Not everyone likes her. Some people like her and what she does while some don’t," he stated. He clarified that his dislike for Nana Ama McBrown doesn't indicate a personal issue with her. "I’m not supposed to like someone because everyone does. It doesn’t mean I have an issue with you," he explained.

Oboy Siki also revealed that he would only attend McBrown's movie premiere if she personally invited him. "If she had invited me to the premiere and I feel like I’m okay, I would go. I’m a special person so why will I attend without an invitation?" he questioned. He recalled how Dr Likee had invited him to his planned London show but declined attendance because he does not travel outside Ghana.
