I have modded many dogs, several cows, 2 lions, and a chimpanzee into Grand Theft Auto 5, and they are all my friends

In the expansive world of Florida, an array of creatures thrive, from alligators to snakes, and even more. Grand Theft Auto 6 appears to be an extension of this zoo-like setting, with a focus on crime. However, the animal presence in GTA 5 is somewhat limited. To enrich this experience, a modification known as DogDog has been installed. This modification allows players to summon dogs in unlimited numbers, as stated by the fan-made mod's description: "You can summon your favorite dogs in any quantity you desire."

Yet, this description doesn't fully capture the extent of DogDog's capabilities. Players are not only able to summon dogs, but also cats, cows, lions, and even a chimpanzee. This ability, verified through personal experience, opens up a myriad of possibilities for gameplay. Coupled with another mod called 2gether, players can now accompany a variety of animals, including the chimpanzee, on their adventures through Los Santos, with the chimpanzee literally perched on the player's back like a noble steed.

Despite the diverse range of creatures that players can now interact with, it's important to note that the game still features ongoing gang wars and flying cars. This means that even with the addition of these new animal companions, players may still encounter some challenging situations. It's advised to try and walk these animals out into nature, as that's where they truly belong.
