Hanuman Ansh: Film made on Rs 2 cr budget earns Rs 12 cr, sees 2500% box office jump

On July 31, the film Hanuman Ansh hit theaters with a modest budget of Rs 1.8 crore to Rs 2 crore. Its initial two weeks at the box office saw earnings of Rs 1.5 crore, but a significant boost occurred in its third week, culminating in a staggering Rs 10.5 crore collection. The movie has now amassed a total revenue of Rs 12 crore, translating to a profit margin exceeding 500% of its production cost, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Opening with Rs 10 lakh, the film amassed Rs 1.08 crore in its first week, before experiencing a dramatic surge in its third week.

Producer Premanand Ji Maharaj advised the producers to maintain a strict vegetarian diet for the protagonist, as well as to ensure the main actor adhered to a careful lifestyle. Director Vishal Chaturvedi revealed that the makers followed Maharaj's guidance closely. Post-release, Vishal recounted adhering to several rules on set, including chanting the Hanuman Chalisa whenever problems arose.

He also shared that the film's promotional campaign was limited due to budget constraints, but they opted to organize bhandaras instead, which effectively served as their promotional effort. Notably, they received a U certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without any issues, further facilitating the film's release.
