Half-naked woman found dead with multiple injuries in Trans Mara

In Trans Mara West, Narok County, police are investigating the death of an unidentified woman whose half-naked body was discovered in the Mount Love area. The woman, believed to be an adult, had suffered multiple injuries and was found with a deep wound at the back of her head, an injury on her left cheek, visible marks around her neck, and bruises on both knees. Her swollen face was covered in blood.

The body was documented and processed by investigators before being moved to the Trans Mara West Sub-County Hospital mortuary for preservation pending identification and a post-mortem examination. Detectives have launched an investigation to identify the woman and determine who was responsible for her death.

Meanwhile, in Machakos, a 19-year-old Burundian national named Hafswah died after falling from the fifth floor of an unfinished building at the Machakos Mall construction site. She had been at the rooftop with her boyfriend, a casual laborer at the construction site, when she received a phone call from an unidentified person and left the rooftop urgently.

She sustained fatal injuries in the fall and was found on the ground floor with visible injuries. The boyfriend, who left the scene, provided a conflicting account of events, raising questions from investigators. The man was arrested and detained as a suspect while detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Her body was moved to Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
