Ghana’s Tourism Authority extends deadline for December 2026 event proposals

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has extended the deadline for submitting event proposals to the 2026 edition of December in GH. The new submission deadline is Monday, September 7, 2026. This extension provides organizers, promoters, cultural innovators, and experience creators more time to develop and submit concepts that showcase Ghana's cultural diversity and creative energy.

The 2026 December in GH calendar will run from December 1, 2026, to January 3, 2027, featuring a blend of culture, creativity, entertainment, heritage, and tourism experiences from across the country. The GTA emphasizes that the extension is aimed at allowing organizers more time to create compelling event concepts that align with the initiative's goals.

December in GH serves as a key platform for attracting visitors to Ghana during the festive season, while also encouraging Ghanaians to explore and experience the nation's rich cultural offerings.
