Francesco Bagnaia stopped on track to “calm down” after frustrating Aragón practice

Francesco Bagnaia deliberately stopped on track during practice for the Aragon Grand Prix to "calm down" after feeling "frustrated with himself" over his failure to secure a place in Q2. The two-time MotoGP champion finished 13th in the 13th-place finish in Friday practice, over a second behind the pace-setting Aprilia of Marco Bezzecchi.

Bagnaia had been struggling with pace throughout Friday's practice on his factory GP26 bike, ultimately failing to make the top 10 with a mistake at the final corner. The Italian said he needed to stop at the side of the track to regain his composure and avoid potentially compromising the team's work. Bagnaia expressed hope that Alex Marquez, who he said is "making a difference in many aspects," would help him find a solution to his current struggles.
