Dunfermline v Raith preview - watch Fife derby live on BBC tonight
Raith Rovers have made a fast start to the new Scottish Championship season. Dougie Imrie's side face Fife rivals Dunfermline Athletic on Friday - live on BBC Scotland.
Raith Rovers, who have won two and drawn one of their first three league matches, are set to face Dunfermline Athletic in the upcoming Fife derby, broadcast live on BBC Scotland. Manager Dougie Imrie has noted the team's strong form but cautioned against getting carried away, mentioning that the squad faced a difficult pre-season.
However, the arrival of experienced winger Scott Tiffoney, a former Championship player with Partick Thistle, has significantly bolstered the Kirkcaldy side. Despite injuries to key players George Oakley and Aaron Lyall, Imrie remains confident in his squad's potential. Dunfermline, who reached the Scottish Cup final last season, have started the new campaign with sluggish performances but manager Bobby Lennon remains optimistic about the team's chances of being Championship contenders.
