Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Launches 'Antariksh Sangwari' To Inspire Jashpur Students In Space Science | Video

Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated an innovative initiative called Antariksh Sangwari to inspire students in Jashpur district to pursue space science education. The program, organized jointly with the district administration and the IDYM Foundation, will connect school students aged 8-12 to the world of space science and technology.

Sai, accompanied by astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, highlighted the state's commitment to fostering scientific temper and encouraging students from remote and tribal areas to excel in modern science and technology.

The Antariksh Sangwari program will provide students with practical exposure to space science, robotics, and astronaut training, enabling them to understand scientific concepts beyond textbooks. Selected students will undergo specialized training, participate in space-related activities, and have the opportunity to interact with Shukla, the first Indian to visit the International Space Station.

The initiative aims to nurture a scientific outlook in students, enabling them to dream big and contribute to the country's future space missions. Registration for the program began on Thursday and will continue until September 15, with the examination scheduled for September 26, followed by evaluation and interviews from September 27 to 29. The program will conclude with an award ceremony on October 26.
