ChatGPT and Codex now support multiple Gmail and Google Calendar accounts

OpenAI has recently announced that ChatGPT and Codex users can now connect multiple Gmail and Google Calendar accounts. This update allows for greater flexibility for individuals who juggle both personal and professional lives, as well as those who utilize ChatGPT's plugins on those platforms.

Previously, each plugin could only be linked to a single Google account, making it challenging to use ChatGPT across separate personal and work inboxes or calendars. However, OpenAI has now rolled out multi-account support for Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts. To add an additional account, users need only open the Plugins section in the sidebar, locate Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts, and click the gear icon for a plugin that they have already connected.

From there, users can add a second or third account and proceed through the standard Google authorization process.

This enhancement provides users with the ability to engage in one conversation with ChatGPT using their personal Gmail account while simultaneously leveraging a work account, contacts, and calendar to manage professional tasks.
