Alleged Photos Of Xiaomi 18 Fold Appear Online With “Dark Cherry” Colourway

Just a few days ago, Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 18 Fold will launch in September. A user named Peter shared alleged images of the foldable on Weibo, stating that the device in question is an engineering prototype. The images depict a wide foldable with a "Dark Cherry" colourway. The rear of the device features three camera lenses and an LED flash arranged horizontally, a trend seen in other wide foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold8.

The phone appears to be thinner than initially thought, although its official measurements are not confirmed. The source of the images suggests that the final version may not look as the prototype suggests. Xiaomi's official confirmation is that the device will come with the XRing O3 chipset, which is claimed to be the world's first mobile chipset to support LPDDR6, delivering speeds up to 10,667Mbps with a memory bandwidth of 113.8GB/s.
