35th Jigawa anniversary may be your last in office – ADC tells APC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has cautioned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State that the state's 35th anniversary celebration may be its last in office. ADC Deputy Governorship candidate, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, emphasized this point in a goodwill message marking the 35th anniversary of Jigawa State's creation.

Ringim urged the APC government to focus on addressing the concerns and welfare of citizens to ensure a successful celebration. He highlighted the need for accountability, a development agenda measured by tangible results, and improvement in education, healthcare, agriculture, employment, and infrastructure. Ringim also expressed concerns over flooding, poor drainage, inadequate waste management, and economic hardship in Jigawa, calling for preventive measures and policies to reduce the economic burden on citizens.
