2027: APC governors will deliver Tinubu’s re-election — Uzodimma

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, recently stated that all governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unanimously support President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid. According to Uzodimma, the responsibility of delivering the 2027 election lies on the subnational level, with governors in each state taking the lead in their respective campaigns.

Speaking at a meeting following Tinubu's meeting with the APC governors, Uzodimma highlighted that the discussions revolved around governance, with a focus on reducing the cost of living for Nigerians, including transportation, food security, agriculture, and ensuring the benefits of various reforms reach the people. The APC governors expressed satisfaction with the reforms and agreed that Tinubu would be delivered in the upcoming election, as announced by the President.
