2 Punjab Police Officers Die During Elite Force Training

Two Punjab Police officers, Syed Tasawwur Shah and Assistant Sub-Inspector Arshad, tragically succumbed to illness during an Elite Force training course in Lahore. The extreme heat and high humidity levels reportedly exacerbated the officers' health, leading to their sudden deterioration and subsequent collapse. Syed Tasawwur Shah, hailing from Jhelum district, and Arshad, who served in the Sargodha region, were both affected by the adverse training conditions.

ASI Arshad was transported to a hospital, where he remained on a ventilator despite medical efforts but ultimately could not be saved. The police have not provided further details on the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Following the completion of legal formalities, the bodies of both officers were returned to their respective families.
