Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali locks Dussehra release, to clash with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming film Ranabaali has set its release date for October 16, 2026, which will directly compete against Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 and Dhanush's Om. The decision was made by the film's producers, who announced the date on social media. Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is a patriotic period drama set during the British Raj, featuring Vijay Deverakonda as the lead and Rashmika Mandanna in her first pairing with him since their wedding earlier this year.
The film's release coincides with the busiest Dussehra window of 2026, making it a competitive release among major films.
