As electric vehicle sales surge in the Middle East, the VinFast VF 8 has emerged as a compelling choice for drivers seeking a blend of SUV capability, comfort and peace of mind. According to the International Energy Agency, electric car sales in the region reached 75,000 units in 2025, a 40% increase year-over-year, with the UAE accounting for nearly half of the regional market and Saudi Arabia and Qatar together representing nearly 45%.

The VF 8's dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers up to 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque in the Plus version, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5.5 seconds.

The Eco version offers 349 horsepower and 500 Nm, reaching 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and boasting a claimed range of up to 493 km on a single charge. Charging takes around 31 minutes to reach 70% capacity. Inside, the VF 8 features a 15.6-inch infotainment display, a two-zone automatic climate control system, air-quality control and cabin filtration with an air ionizer.

The Plus variant includes 12-way powered driver's seat adjustment, a heated and ventilated front passenger seat, and a heated, reclining rear seat. A panoramic sunroof, heated power-adjustable steering wheel and 10-speaker audio system complete the luxurious package. The companion app enables remote vehicle controls, driver profiles, driving statistics and diagnostics, with over-the-air updates ensuring software improvements without a workshop visit.

Recognizing the growing concerns of EV owners, VinFast offers a 10-year or 200,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and a 10-year unlimited-kilometer battery warranty. Additional perks include five years or 100,000 kilometers of free service, 24/7 mobile services and roadside assistance, and access to DC fast charging stations. VinFast is also expanding its infrastructure through partnerships with 29 aftersales providers, aiming to have over 1,100 service workshops worldwide by 2026.
