Toy Story 5 Is Coming to Disney+ Next Month

Toy Story 5 is set to debut on Disney+ next month, on September 23. The film will arrive on the streaming platform four months after its theatrical release. A day prior, on September 22, 4K Blu-rays will be available for purchase, with an exclusive 4K steelbook edition. The movie is already accessible for rent or purchase digitally via PVOD platforms.

A fresh trailer has been released, featuring an abundance of Buzz Lightyears. The release announcement is also accompanied by a new music video for the Taylor Swift piano version of "I Knew It, I Knew You," now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Disney+.

Toy Story 5 surpassed $1.1 billion worldwide in gross revenue, with a budget of $250 million. This figure exceeds the previous sequel, Toy Story 4's box office performance. The Toy Story franchise as a whole has now amassed over $3.3 billion globally, narrowly trailing behind Universal's Despicable Me as the second highest-grossing animated media franchise of all time.
