Time dotCom Q2 net profit rises to RM134.62mil

Time dotCom Bhd reported a rise in net profit for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, ending June 30, 2026. The profit increased to RM134.62 million, up from RM104.63 million in the same quarter last year. The gains were driven by higher profit from operations, a net foreign exchange gain, and a larger share of profit from associates.

Revenue for Q2 2026 also increased to RM477.77 million, a 7.2% rise from RM445.67 million in Q2 2025, with data and other revenues contributing significantly to the growth. For the first half of 2026, the company's net profit stood at RM253.81 million, higher than RM217.62 million in the same period last year, underpinned by stronger overall revenue, better margins, and lower net foreign exchange losses.

The group's CEO, Loh Jenkim, highlighted the company's commitment to delivering high-quality connectivity and its continued investment in network expansion and product enhancements to meet evolving customer needs. The board declared a special interim tax-exempt dividend of RM100 million, payable on September 25, 2026. Looking ahead, Time dotCom remains focused on long-term growth in its connectivity business and sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy projects, as part of its broader strategy amid economic uncertainties and industry changes.
