Three generations of Emirati healthcare women come together on Etihad Rail ahead of Emirati Women’s Day

Three generations of Emirati women in healthcare shared their experiences aboard a train journey orchestrated by Burjeel Holdings and Etihad Rail as a tribute to Emirati Women's Day. The 30 participants included senior physicians, doctors, nurses, healthcare leaders, and professionals from various administrative roles, representing different career stages.

Joining them was Dr Farida Al Ali, who provided insights on leadership, resilience, and national contribution. The train's route from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah and back facilitated conversations about the evolution of the UAE's healthcare sector, with participants discussing how their professional lives had changed over decades. The journey underscored the progress of Emirati women in healthcare, from limited opportunities in the past to today's confident and ambitious professionals.

It also highlighted the often-overlooked roles of those in administration, operations, and patient services.
