The Galaxy S27 Pro could follow the Ultra’s new look, iPhone vibes and all

The Galaxy S27 Pro may follow a similar design to the Galaxy S27 Ultra, according to CAD renders attributed to OnLeaks. The new phone features a larger raised camera section across the upper back, replacing the individual camera rings seen on previous flagship models. This design choice gives the Galaxy S27 Pro a more iPhone-like appearance, reflecting Samsung's recent direction with its Pro series devices.

While this redesign may provide practical benefits, such as room for built-in Qi2 magnets, it also deviates from the more horizontal camera strip seen on older models like the Galaxy S10. The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to include a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens, with a 12MP 3x telephoto camera situated below the Ultra's rumored 50MP 5x camera.

Its battery capacity is rumored to reach 5,200mAh, while the Ultra's prototypes are being tested between 5,700mAh and 6,000mAh. Notably, the Galaxy S27 Pro will not include an S Pen slot, unlike the Ultra. Additionally, Samsung is reportedly working on a self-healing display coating for the Ultra. Despite these similarities, the Galaxy S27 Pro may appeal to consumers seeking a Galaxy S27 Ultra-like experience without the larger 6.9-inch display or higher price tag.
