박근혜, 국힘에 “내부 분열 가장 무서운 적…지도부 중심 단결해야”

Former President Park Geun-hye attended a National Strength (국민의힘) meeting in order to promote unity within the party during a period when internal divisions within the party were heightened. This was not an ordinary occurrence, as it involved inviting a former president who had been impeached. Park made a 10-minute speech at the meeting held at a hotel in Goyang, South Korea, on September 27th.

She emphasized that "the most frightening enemy during a fight against outside enemies is our internal divisions. We must unite under the leadership and work together during difficult times." The emphasis on unity from the top was made at a time when there were criticisms of the leadership structure within the party.
