Security forces kill 11 terrorists in IBOs across KP, Balochistan

Security forces eliminated 11 terrorists through targeted intelligence operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to reports on Thursday by Aaj News. These operations were conducted in Bannu and South Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as the Khuzdar district in Balochistan, against militants affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, sources revealed.

In Bannu, two terrorists were killed, and the security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from their hold while also destroying their hideout. Another intelligence-led operation in the Ladha region of South Waziristan resulted in the death of five terrorists after their movement was detected and neutralized. Additionally, four terrorists were killed during an operation in Balochistan's Khuzdar district, where quadcopters were utilized to target the suspects.

Security sources disclosed that clearance operations are ongoing in the respective areas to ensure no surviving militants remain. The security forces took all precautions to safeguard civilians and the local population during these operations. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their gratitude to the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists in Bannu.

Zardari emphasized the necessity of eliminating externally backed terrorist elements and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to eradicating terrorism. Both the president and the prime minister praised the security forces for their bravery and dedication to the cause, stating that the entire nation supports them in the fight against terrorism.
