Scot hospitalised after girlfriend finds mistress in Pattaya

A Scottish man required hospitalization after his Thai girlfriend discovered him speaking with another woman at a Pattaya restaurant. The incident occurred on August 27 when the 41-year-old Scot sustained a serious head injury when his girlfriend, 49-year-old Prang, struck him with a glass and a bottle during an argument. Mueang Pattaya Police Station received a report of a fight at 12:16am and collaborated with rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan to attend the scene.

A large crowd had gathered outside the restaurant when authorities arrived. Upon their arrival, police found the Scottish man sitting at a table with a significant wound to his head and severe bleeding. Rescue workers provided immediate first aid before transporting him to the hospital for further treatment. Broken glass and other items from the restaurant were also damaged during the altercation.

The Thai woman involved, identified as Prang, remained at the restaurant and was reportedly angry and shouting after the incident. She claimed that her boyfriend had been in a relationship with her for nearly four years and that she discovered him talking to a woman working at a bar. Upon being confronted about their relationship, her boyfriend allegedly said, "I love her," which reportedly enraged her.

Prang admitted to grabbing a drinking glass and a soda bottle and striking her boyfriend multiple times during the argument. At the time of reporting, it was unclear whether Prang would face any charges, and the Scot's condition following hospital treatment had not been confirmed.
