프리미엄 기능 얹은 보급형 ‘갤럭시 S26 FE’, 9월4일 출시

Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE, a premium-specification version of its S series smartphones, on September 4th. The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch display, a slim profile of 7.4mm, and a lightweight weight of 193g. This model retains the flagship phone's key functions and design while adjusting specifications to reduce the price point, positioning it as a 'value' product.

The screen refresh rate reaches a maximum of 120Hz, and the peak brightness of 1900 nits allows for clear visibility even in outdoor settings. With a 4900mAh battery, the device can charge up to 69% in just 30 minutes. Beginning September 4th, the Galaxy S26 FE will be sequentially released in countries such as South Korea and the United States, with the Korean market price starting at 104,500,000 KRW for the 256GB model.

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) features is enhanced in this model. Samsung Electronics applies the latest AI to the One UI 9 operating system, based on Android 17. Users can view relevant information by circling an unfamiliar object on the screen, and the phone can proactively share information based on the user's situation or suggest upcoming tasks.

The device supports a maximum of seven generations of operating system updates and seven years of security updates. Camera-wise, the Galaxy S26 FE includes a 50MP wide-angle rear camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. The telephoto camera enables 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. A front-facing 12MP camera is also available.

The 'Nightography' feature ensures clear photos even in dimly lit environments, while the 'Photo Assist' AI allows users to erase or modify objects in a captured image by simply speaking the desired changes. Samsung Electronics offers a separate subscription service for customers purchasing the device in South Korea, granting them the option to return the product and receive up to 50% of its original price, along with repair services and discounts on accessories. All customers receive a six-month trial of Google's AI services and a two-month trial of Wala.
