Redmi Note 17 Pro Series Goes Global With Massive 10,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi has expanded the global reach of its Redmi Note 17 Pro series, unveiling smartphones with remarkably large batteries, cutting-edge processors, and enhanced durability. The new models differ from their Chinese versions in various aspects and begin at $399 for the Redmi Note 17 Pro and $499 for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.

Both devices are equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, measuring 2772 × 1280 pixels, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colors, and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. They also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for display protection and Xiaomi's REDMI Titan Structure, which is tested to withstand immersion at a depth of 2 meters for up to 72 hours and drops from heights of up to 3 meters.

One of the most significant upgrades is the battery capacity. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is equipped with an 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 67W HyperCharge and 22.5W wired reverse charging, promising up to 28 hours of video playback and a 50% charge in 34 minutes. In contrast, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, featuring the largest battery in Xiaomi's history, houses a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery in many global markets, offering up to three days of usage and a 20-minute charge for a full day of power.

The Pro Max also includes 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging. Both devices support Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6.0 available on the Pro Max.
