NDC is in a huge bubble – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis "Miracles" Aboagye, the National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) for being out of touch with the needs of Ghanaians. He claims the NDC government has not fulfilled promises made to voters and instead focuses on defending its record rather than acknowledging shortcomings.

Aboagye stated that the NDC members are "in a huge bubble" and insensitively claim to be in power. He questioned the progress on campaign promises, such as the no-fees stress policy and providing boreholes for every cocoa farm. He also accused the government and its supporters of falsely claiming fulfillment of promises without providing evidence.

Aboagye further criticized the NDC government for lacking any monumental achievements since coming to power, despite having been in office for two years. He acknowledged that roads and infrastructure projects are undertaken by all governments and should not be the sole basis for evaluating a government's performance. Instead, Aboagye emphasized that the NPP's role as the opposition was to present an alternative perspective and provide voters with the necessary information to make an informed choice between the government's performance and rhetoric.
