Naidu hails UPI as transformative as India marks 10 years of digital payments

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) as a groundbreaking development that has revolutionized financial transactions in India as the country celebrated the platform's 10th anniversary on August 27, 2026. "From my personal experience, UPI has fundamentally transformed how Andhra Pradesh and India manage money on a daily basis," Naidu stated.

Naidu hailed UPI as a testament to India's growing technological prowess, asserting that its success demonstrated the nation's digital capabilities to the world.
