Liverpool close in on signing PSG forward Barcola

Liverpool are on the verge of signing Paris St-Germain forward Bradley Barcola for a fee that could reach £120m. Talks have advanced in the past two days, and a final agreement seems imminent. PSG had initially priced the 23-year-old at £145m, but Liverpool are prepared to meet a minimum price of over £100m, with potential increases based on Barcola's performance on and off the pitch.

The French forward is right-footed but primarily plays on the left wing. His potential move to Anfield creates uncertainty about Cody Gakpo's future at Liverpool. Other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, have shown interest in Barcola. Liverpool is also looking for a right winger, having rejected offers of £50m and £60m for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh and Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola confirmed that his club is actively seeking to strengthen, expressing hope for a positive outcome soon regarding Barcola's signing while acknowledging that they still need to complete the deal.
