Liverpool close in on signing PSG forward Barcola

Liverpool have reached an outline agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of 23-year-old France winger Bradley Barcola, worth up to £120 million ($162.9 million), according to the Press Association. The deal, which includes a guaranteed fee just over £100 million with add-ons that could increase the total to £120 million, has made progress since talks began on Wednesday. However, work remains to be done to finalize the agreement.

Barcola, who joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 and played a key role in their back-to-back Champions League triumphs, had previously scored three goals for France during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June and July. The Reds are seeking to bolster their wide options ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline, following the departure of club legend Mohamed Salah.

In addition to Barcola, Liverpool have also shown interest in Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr, but two bids for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh were recently rejected. Barcola's potential move to Anfield is set to be discussed further by Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola during a press conference previewing Saturday's match against Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
