Kyndryl expands Broadcom alliance for private cloud services

NEW YORK - Kyndryl and Broadcom have extended their strategic partnership to enhance the delivery of consulting services for VMware Cloud Foundation, reinforcing their commitment to supporting enterprises in building private and hybrid cloud environments, according to a press release. Kyndryl will now provide comprehensive consulting services, including advisory, architecture, upgrade, and modernization, to assist organizations in transitioning to VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Tanzu.

The expanded collaboration also includes Kyndryl's application of its Agentic AI Framework, which leverages policy as code to maintain AI governance aligned with business rules and regulatory requirements. By investing in skills development for several thousand Kyndryl consultants, architects, and delivery specialists, both companies aim to help customers build resilient private clouds that enable AI adoption, support data modernization, address AI-identified vulnerabilities, and deliver tangible business value.

Regan McGrath, President, Americas for Broadcom, emphasized the importance of the expanded relationship in ensuring that customers have the necessary expert guidance to fully leverage VMware Cloud Foundation as a strategic private cloud platform. Kyndryl holds the distinction of being a Pinnacle Partner in the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program, having earned the Broadcom Mainframe Partner of the Year 2025 awards in South America and Finland.

This expanded partnership combines VMware Cloud Foundation's capabilities with Kyndryl's managed services tailored for private cloud environments, supporting both virtual machine and containerized workloads across various industries.
