JUST IN: Tinubu in talks with APC governors at Villa

President Bola Tinubu is currently engaged in discussions with governors who are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting commenced just before 4:00pm on Thursday, following a separate session held by the National Economic Council, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima. As of now, the meeting is still in progress, with the agenda yet to be revealed.

This interaction comes eight days after the start of campaigns for the 2027 general election, as per the timetable announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, and five days after APC published the roster of its Presidential Campaign Council, headed by former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, as its Director-General.
