JK Tyre Signs 11-Year-Old Karting Sensation Atiqa Mir To Nurture India’s Motorsport Talent

New Delhi: JK Tyre, the renowned motorsport brand in India, has signed 11-year-old karting prodigy Atiqa Mir, one of the country's most promising young talents, to nurture India's motorsport future. Atiqa, already a standout on the international karting stage, has gained significant recognition on the global circuit. She has competed in top championships across Europe and the Middle East, and holds the prestigious title of World No 1 female karter according to FIA IKR rankings.

In 2026, Atiqa made history by being the first Indian to secure a podium in Europe's Champions of the Future Academy and later, achieved a remarkable victory in Greece, becoming the third driver in series history to sweep all rounds. Recently, she added another milestone by becoming the youngest Indian to record two top 10 finishes in the FIA European Karting Championship, considered the top-tier karting competition.

Atiqa's achievements reflect the increasing representation of women in motorsport, as she was the first Indian and Asian female racer to join Formula 1 Academy's Discover Your Drive program.
