Investors, Fed watchers want one thing from Kevin Warsh in his Jackson Hole debut: Clarity

During his Jackson Hole speech, Kevin Warsh highlighted the need for the Federal Reserve to operate more like a private sector company. Warsh, who took over as Fed chair in May, is known for his tough stance on inflation and his optimism about artificial intelligence (AI). Unlike his predecessors, such as Janet Yellen and Jerome Powell, Warsh is rethinking how the committee approaches problem-solving, utilizes economic data, and communicates with the public.

He is not a fan of forward guidance, emphasizing real-time policy decisions instead of speculative economic outlooks.
