I have put myself in the line of fire for the NPP – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis "Miracles" Aboagye, hopeful for the position of National Communications Director within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that his commitment to the party has entailed putting himself "in the line of fire" to safeguard its interests. The candidate, speaking to Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen, clarified that the primary objective for all contestants is the party's victory in the upcoming election.

Initially, 29 individuals expressed their desire to contest for the National Communications Director position. However, some candidates withdrew after engaging with Aboagye and witnessing the overwhelming support from party members. Senior officials who had initially considered running also decided to step aside, informed of the party's backing for Aboagye.

Despite these withdrawals, Aboagye emphasized that the withdrawal of other aspirants was not the primary concern. Instead, his priority remains the people and the broader welfare of the party. He attributed his interactions with senior party members and grassroots supporters as essential aspects of his preparation to lead the NPP's communications machinery.

Aboagye described his passion for the party as evident but not influenced by emotions. He highlighted his six years of active involvement in politics, asserting that his dedication has been unwavering. He firmly stated that his intent in contesting the National Communications Director position is to enhance the NPP's communication strategy, ultimately leading to a victory in the next general election.
