Here we go: Real Madrid set to sign 21-year-old Ghanaian talent as player completes medical

Real Madrid is poised to sign 21-year-old Ghanaian defender Oscar Naasei, who has recently completed his medical, as per Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Spanish giants have secured the 21-year-old for €2 million from his current team, Granada. However, Naasei will not join the senior squad immediately, but will serve as a reinforcement for the reserve team, RM Castilla.

Naasei, a centre-back by trade, can also operate effectively at right-back, making him a valuable addition to the Castilla squad. The move comes as a response to the mass exodus of young talent from the Castilla team, with several players leaving for better opportunities elsewhere. Naasei is expected to replace Valdepenas, who has joined Fiorentina on a permanent deal.

Despite some competition from other talented defenders in La Fabrica, including Joan Martinez, Diego Aguardo, and Lamini Fati, Naasei's addition to RM Castilla could prove to be a smart investment for the club.
