Harry Styles Kicks Off Massive NYC Residency with a Brand New Set and Plenty of Charm: Review + Setlist

Harry Styles captivated the audience at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night (August 26) with a unique setlist for his first gig in the arena since 2022. The pop-star, amidst a roaring crowd, asked "How about them Knicks, huh?" disregarding the championship run, as the Knicks had not been back to MSG since then. Styles performed for the next two months as part of his Together, Together tour.

The pop-rock superstar joined his band on stage midway through the opening song "Dance No More," displaying an infectious energy to the sold-out crowd. New tracks from his album 'Kiss All the Time' were accompanied by a few fan favorites with new arrangements. Styles' setlist was notably reordered, with four tracks from his 2017 album 'Harry Styles' making their second appearance.

Despite not being a natural disco performer, Styles infused disco elements into his set, including tracks from less dancefloor-friendly songs from his earlier work. His performance was PG-rated, with the most common merch item found in the audience being a 'Respect Your Mother' T-shirt.
