Good Good to no longer be title sponsor of PGA Tour event and loses Callaway sponsorship

Good Good Golf has ended its partnership with Callaway and will no longer serve as the title sponsor for a PGA Tour event in November following controversy surrounding a promotional video. The video, part of Callaway's marketing for a new driver, depicted a scene where a man forcibly pushes a woman to the ground while she attempts to interact with the club.

Good Good Golf, a popular presence on YouTube's golf-focused content, claimed the video was intended as a spinoff from the film "Obsession." However, the backlash was swift and unrelenting. In response, the Golf Channel decided to postpone a planned reality show in which Good Good was a participant, citing the need to remove the sponsor's brand from the broadcast.

The sporting goods retailer Dick's Sporting Goods also removed merchandise bearing the Good Good logo from its displays. Most recently, Callaway announced it would terminate its three-year sponsorship agreement with the brand. The PGA Tour subsequently confirmed that Good Good Golf will not be the title sponsor for a tournament set to take place from November 12 to 15 in Austin, Texas. The organization stated it would seek out a replacement title sponsor.
